Banwell Bone Cave

This cave is famous for its rich deposit of Pleistocene animal bones discovered in the early 19th century, many of which are carefully stacked around the walls of the Bone Chamber.

Length 100m, Vertical Range 20m.

From the entrance a flight of stone steps lead downwards into the Bone Chamber.
